BizBooks Pro is desktop accounting software with real double-entry books underneath. We've just released two editions that fit a church with a weekday preschool: one for the church's offerings, online giving, funds and giving statements, and one for the school's tuition billing. This page is a short summary of what each one does.
Two counters enter each envelope, check and the loose plate cash, then sign a printed count sheet. Posting it creates the bank deposit and credits every household's giving record at the same time, so the two can never disagree.
Your own giving page and a QR code for the bulletin, where members give by card or bank transfer, once or every month. It runs through the church's own Stripe account, so gifts reach your bank at Stripe's standard rates and we take nothing per gift — unlike the dedicated giving apps, which charge a platform fee on top. Givers can choose to cover the processing fee, and most do when asked.
Every gift posts to the fund the giver chose and onto that household's year-end statement by itself, so there's no second system to reconcile. Recurring gifts show you what's scheduled, and flag a card that has expired before the money stops arriving.
General, Building, Missions and Benevolence funds are ready to use, and you can add your own. Restricted gifts sit in their own column on the Statement of Activities until they're spent on their purpose — the fund accounting an audit or a denominational report expects.
Every member's statement lists each gift with its fund and carries the IRS wording, including intangible religious benefits. Email the congregation at once; anyone who prefers paper is listed for printing.
Campaign pledges track themselves from gifts to that fund and show who is on pace. For clergy, the board's housing allowance designation prints as a resolution for the minutes and a year-end statement for the minister's return.
Each family gets a single invoice covering all of their children, with the sibling discount applied and last month's fees included. You preview it before anything is created, and a month can never be billed twice.
