Connect your bank accounts directly to BizBooks Pro. Transactions sync automatically - no downloads, no uploads, no manual work. Just click Sync and your transactions appear.
Some banks just don't play nicely with a single aggregator. That's why BizBooks Pro now includes a second bank connection option powered by Stripe Financial Connections. If your institution is missing from the primary list, the alternate path almost always brings it in. Both options are free with every BizBooks Pro plan.
Click the alternate connector to enable it. If a bank fails to load through one network, the other typically picks it up on the first try.
Running books for dozens of clients? BizBooks Pro lets you assign a custom name to every bank connection -- usually the client's business name -- so a Wells Fargo from one client never gets mixed up with a Wells Fargo from another. Mapping dropdowns include a built-in search filter so you can find any account in a fraction of a second.
Give every bank link a recognizable label so accounts stay tied to the right client at a glance.
Filter the mapping dropdown live by typing a client name, institution, or the last four digits.
Tap the pencil icon next to a connection to rename it -- no disconnect, no re-authentication required.
Running an accounting firm? Send a secure one-time email link to any client. They verify with their bank on their own computer, and the connected account lands directly in your BizBooks Pro installation — no passwords exchanged, no screen sharing needed.
Authentication happens through Stripe's PCI-compliant widget on the client's device. Your firm never handles or stores their bank password.
Every link is valid for 48 hours and single-use only. After redemption the token is permanently retired.
Once the client finishes, their linked bank account shows up in your Manage Bank Connections view without any manual steps on your end.
Prefer to import manually? Drop a PDF bank or credit card statement into BizBooks Pro and it gets read, not pattern-matched. There is no supported-bank list to check first — whatever your institution prints, the statement reader works through it line by line.
Traditional PDF importers ship a template per institution. Your statement either matches one or it comes back empty — and credit card statements, which print a posting date and a transaction date side by side plus a long reference column, are the classic case that breaks them. BizBooks Pro interprets the page itself, so an unusual format is just another statement to work through.
Choose the method that works best for your bank and workflow - or use them all!

Every transaction in Match Transactions is color-coded by direction. A green stripe down the left edge means money came in; a red stripe means money went out. The whole row picks up a light tint in the same color, so you can skim a long statement and pick out the expenses instantly.
Amounts carry a sign too - +$842.10 for deposits, -$1,612.74 for payments - because about one in twelve men has some form of red-green color blindness, and color alone should never decide whether you can read your own books. A small legend above the list spells out what each color means.
Transactions are categorized with increasing levels of automation and confidence.

Teach BizBooks Pro how to categorize your recurring transactions. Rules run automatically on every import, saving hours of manual work.
Bank Feeds: 5,000+ US financial institutions including Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Capital One, and most credit unions.
Manual Import: Any bank that exports CSV, Excel, QBO, OFX, or QFX files - which is virtually all of them. Also works with QuickBooks Online exports. For PDF import, we support most major US banks including Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Capital One, Citi, and more.
Toggle on the secondary Stripe Financial Connections path. Both bank networks are bundled into every BizBooks Pro subscription, giving you two independent routes to the same institution. Banks that miss on one network usually connect cleanly on the other.
Yes -- this is built specifically for accountants and bookkeepers. Every bank connection accepts a custom name (typically the client's business name), and that name appears next to the institution everywhere it's referenced. The mapping dropdown also includes a search filter, so you can find any account by typing a client name, bank name, or the last four digits of the account number.
BizBooks Pro checks date, amount, and description to prevent importing the same transaction twice. The "Matches Existing" feature also catches transactions you may have already entered manually.
Yes! Credit card statements work just like bank statements. Import them to track expenses and reconcile your credit card accounts.
Easy to fix - just change the category before accepting. You can also create a rule so similar transactions are categorized correctly in the future.
Absolutely. Use the Request Client Bank Link button inside Manage Bank Connections to email a secure one-time invitation. Your client opens the link, verifies with their bank using Stripe's encrypted flow, and the account is added to your installation automatically. You never see their login details.
Each invitation generates a unique cryptographic token that expires in 48 hours and can only be used once. The entire process runs through Stripe Financial Connections, which is PCI-compliant and grants read-only access only. Clients can disconnect from their bank's settings at any time.
Import your bank statements in seconds. Smart matching does the rest.
