Church accounting, giving records and online giving in one place

Count Sunday's Offering Once

Two counters enter the envelopes. That one record becomes the bank deposit, the fund balances, and every household's giving history — so the books and the giving records can't disagree. Online gifts, pledges and January's statements come from the same place.

🧺 The Sunday count

Envelope numbers, checks and loose plate cash, with a count sheet both counters sign. Post it and the deposit, the funds and the giving records all move together.

🏛️ Designated funds that stay designated

Building, Missions and Benevolence gifts sit in the restricted column of your Statement of Activities until they're spent on their purpose — the ASC 958 reporting an audit or a denomination expects.

💝 Online giving, no platform fee

Your own giving page and QR code for the bulletin. Card or bank transfer, one-time or monthly, through your church's own Stripe account. We take nothing per gift.

📄 January in one run

Giving statements for every household with the IRS wording churches need, emailed at once. Pledge campaigns and the minister's housing allowance paperwork are here too.

Questions churches ask

Does this replace our church management system?

Only the money half. Giving records, funds, statements and the books live here; attendance, groups, rotas and child check-in stay in your ChMS. For most churches the giving records were the part the ChMS handled worst anyway, and the part the treasurer was re-typing.

Why is it sold as the Nonprofit plan?

Because that's what a church is, for accounting purposes: the same FASB ASC 958 standard, the same restricted-fund reporting. Selling a cheaper "church-only" product would mean handing you restricted funds without the statements that prove how they were spent. One plan carries both.

We're a synagogue / mosque / temple. Does it fit us?

Yes. The workflows are the same — a weekly offering or appeal, designated funds, pledges, annual giving statements, and clergy housing. The default labels say "church" and "offering" because that's what most of our congregations call them; tell us what your community uses and we'll take it as a request.

What does online giving cost us?

Nothing from us — no platform fee and no per-gift cut, unlike the dedicated giving apps. Gifts run through your own Stripe account at Stripe's published rates, straight into your bank, and givers can choose to cover that fee.

Can our bookkeeper or CPA get in?

Yes. Advisor connections are included, and they don't use one of your seats. If your accountant runs their own practice on BizBooks Pro, they can connect to your books from theirs.

What happens to our existing books?

Import them. Bring in your chart of accounts, members and history from QuickBooks or a CSV, and we'll help set up the funds and the reports your finance committee already reads — that's part of getting started, not a separate engagement.
