In the United States only. Your live books run on servers in New York, and encrypted backups are stored separately in San Francisco. Backups are encrypted before they leave the server, and we regularly test that a restored copy produces exactly the same trial balance as the original.

Yes. The live demo runs in your browser today, and early-access customers can move back to the desktop edition at any time.
Yes, without using one of your seats. If your bookkeeper, accountant or fractional CFO uses BizBooks Pro themselves, invite them from Company Settings → Accountant Access. They connect to your cloud books from their own software with their own sign-in, so they don't take one of your user seats or add to your hosting price. Each invitation is for one person, so your accountant and your fractional CFO can both be connected at the same time; an outside CFO works in the CFO / Boardroom Center. Every request they make is signed, and you can remove access at any time. Professionals can use the free Partner licence for this.
Someone without their own copy can instead be added as a regular user. That uses a seat: two are included with hosting, and each additional user is $12 per year.
