Tired of QuickBooks? Bring everything with you - including your complete invoice and bill history with all payments matched. Most migration tools skip this. We don't.
Try It FreeMost accounting software can import a chart of accounts. BizBooks Pro imports your complete transaction history - every invoice, every customer payment, every vendor bill, every bill payment - with proper matching and A/R & A/P balances intact.
Drop your Items.IIF and Classes.IIF exports into Phase 1 and BizBooks Pro lands them as proper product records and live class tags. Invoice and bill line items resolve to the matching Item automatically, and the Class column on your Phase 3 transaction export tags every journal line with its class as the import runs.
We don't know of another QuickBooks alternative that does the whole job β Items + Classes + Bills + Invoices with lineβItem linking β in one free in-product step.
Items.IIF and creates BizBooks Pro product records. Every QuickBooks item type translates: service, inventory, non-inventory, group, discount, and inventory assembly. Prices, costs, reorder points, taxable flags, and income accounts all preserve.Classes.IIF drops straight into the built-in Class tracking dimension. Hierarchy is preserved (parent classes and sub-classes).The biggest barrier to switching accounting software is your existing data. Years of transactions, carefully organized accounts, customer balances, vendor balances - losing this history means starting from scratch. BizBooks Pro's QuickBooks import lets you bring it all with you.
Run "Transaction List by Customer" and "Transaction List by Vendor" reports, export as CSV
Drop your files into the import wizard - handles multiple files at once
Smart auto-mapping matches accounts. Preview before importing.
All your accounts with numbers, names, types, and hierarchies. Sub-accounts preserved.
Names, addresses, contact info, and payment terms. Automatically created from transaction data.
Service, inventory, non-inventory, group, discount, and assembly items all become real BizBooks Pro product records. Sales descriptions, prices, costs, taxable flags, and reorder points keep their values.
Your entire QuickBooks Class List arrives as actual classes on BizBooks Pro's tracking dimension. Sub-classes preserve their parent hierarchy, ready for P&L by Class reports.
Complete A/R history: Every invoice with line items, every payment matched to the correct invoice. Outstanding balances calculated automatically. Invoice lines now resolve to imported Items by name.
Complete A/P history: Every bill with expense allocations, every payment matched correctly. Know exactly what you owe each vendor. Bill lines link to imported Items.
Customize your QuickBooks Transaction Detail report to include the Class column, and BizBooks Pro will tag every journal line with the right class as the Phase 3 import runs. P&L by Class reports work on imported data instantly.

Without transaction-level import, you'd need to manually recreate every invoice and bill, or start with a lump-sum "beginning balance" that loses all your history. With BizBooks Pro, you get real aging reports, accurate customer/vendor histories, and complete audit trails from day one.
BizBooks Pro recognizes QuickBooks account types and maps them automatically. Assets, Liabilities, Equity, Income, Expenses - each gets assigned to the correct category. Review the mapping before import, adjust if needed, then import with confidence.
Most imports complete in under 5 minutes. Large files with thousands of transactions may take longer.
Yes. Account numbers from QuickBooks are imported as-is. You can adjust them afterward if needed.
Any version that can export to CSV or IIF format - QuickBooks Desktop (all editions), QuickBooks Online, and QuickBooks for Mac.
Yes. Import just your chart of accounts, or just customers, or any combination you need. The Items and Classes tiles in Phase 1 are optional β skip them if you don't use items or class tracking in QuickBooks.
Phase 1 first (Accounts, Customers, Vendors, Items, Classes). Phase 2 (opening balances) is optional and most users skip it. Phase 3 last (transactions). The Items and Classes you uploaded in Phase 1 are what make Phase 3 able to tag transaction lines with the right class and resolve invoice/bill lines to the right Item.
Yes β go back into QuickBooks Desktop, open the report, click Customize Report, switch to the Display tab, and check the Class box (and the Item box if you want invoice and bill lines to link to Items). Re-export, re-upload, and BizBooks Pro will tag everything. No need to redo Phase 1.
