Most small organizations still collect registrations on paper or in a free form tool, then retype every entry into their books. Registration Portals put the form and the customer list in one place.
Start from a preset (individual, business, or youth program), then tick and untick fields. Rename any label, e.g. "Scout's first name" or "Parent email", mark fields as required, and put them in the order you want.
Every portal has its own link and QR code. Download the code as an image to drop into a flyer, or as a print-ready PDF sheet with instructions. Post it at the front desk or put it on a slide at the meeting.
Registrations wait in a review queue inside BizBooks Pro. If someone registers under a name you already have, BizBooks Pro flags it and offers to add the new details to that customer instead of creating a duplicate.
If you trust your form, switch on automatic mode and new registrants become customers as soon as they arrive. Anything that looks like an existing customer still waits for you, so automatic mode never creates duplicates.
BizBooks Pro only contacts the online form service while a portal is open. With nothing open, it makes no calls at all. While a form is open it checks hourly, and you can switch on Live event mode to check every minute during a meeting or open house.
The online form is only a mailbox. Registrations wait there until your desktop collects them, and are deleted from the cloud the moment they're received. Your customer list stays on your own computer, like the rest of your books.

The treasurer builds a "Pack 2026–27 Registration" portal from the youth preset, adds a Den dropdown (Lion through Arrow of Light), and puts the QR code on the dues flyer. At the first meeting, 40 families scan it and register one Scout each while the Cubmaster talks. Live event mode is on, so registrations appear in BizBooks Pro within a minute.
By the end of the night, all 40 Scouts are customers with their den, parent contact and allergy notes on file, ready for $170 dues invoices. Nobody typed anything in from paper.
